Three catalysts of NiW supported on different Y-Al2O3 were prepared and their catalytic properties were evaluated for the hydrocracking of n-decane.The results showed that amount increase of medium and strong acidic sites on catalyst led to higher activity of the catalyst in n-decane hydrocracking.Over the catalyst with higher medium and strong acidity severe secondary cracking of n-decane occurred at low temperature, while the total acidic sites of catalyst were related to secondary cracking at higher temperature. The conversion of n-decane increased with temperature rising, while the selectivity of i-decane decreased and the yield of i-decane went through a maximum.
