The plane intersection signal timing based on VISSIM simulation

Signalized intersection is not only the node of city road network but also the key of traffic.Its timing scheme plays a decisive role to relive the traffic congestion.The domestic and foreign signal timing models are introduced.On the base of investigation in Harbin traffic,it is concluded that the U.S.HCM timing method is the optimal timing model by means of designning the application of the four model timing scheme.
