Expression of Angiopoietin-1,Angiopoietin-2 and Tie2 in Proliferative Hemangioma

Objective: To examine the expression of Ang-1,-2 and Tie2 in proliferative hemangioma and to explore their functions in the development of hemangioma.Methods: The expression of Ang-1,Ang-2 and Tie2 were detected in 26 specimens of proliferative hemangioma and 20 normal tissues by semiquantitative RT-PCR,the level of Ang-1,Ang-2 and Tie2 were analyzed by computer digital image analysis system.Results: The Ang-2 expression was significantly higher and Ang-1 expression was lower in proliferative hemangiomas than in normal tissues(both P0.05),but the Tie2 expression results showed no difference between the two groups.Conclusion: There is a close relationship between Ang-1,Ang-2 and the proliferation of hemangiomas.
