The Study of Measuring Clay plasticity and Forecasting of Nud Plasticity

The mud plasticity is the most important technical parameter.After analyzing the relationships between mineral compositions and plasticity of several common clay,the different measuring methods of clay plasticity index was set,which based on colloid theory,and fitting with the fact mud plasticity.The results have shown that applying the plasticity indexⅡcan well react the adding relationship of different clay and mud plasticity.
