Seven inorganic elements such as K,Ca,Mg,Fe,Mn,Zn and Cu in wild and planted Rhodiola kirilowii(Regel)Maxim.,Rhodiola crenulata(Hook.f.et.Thoms).S.H.Fu were determined by atomic absorption spectrometry and observed the contents of elements in three samples.Rhodiola rosea is rich in K,Ca,Mg,Fe,Mn,Zn,Cu.The order of elements in wild and planted Rhodiola kirilowii(Regel)Maxim.is KMgCaFeMnZnCu,and it is the same in Rhodiola crenulata (Hook.f.et.Thoms).S.H.Fu except for Ca.The contents of elements haven't obvious difference between wild and planted Rhodiola kirilowii(Regel) Maxim..The contents of Fe,Cu,Zn,Mg,K in Rhodiola kirilowii(Regel) Maxim.are significantly higher than Rhodiola crenulata (Hook.f.et.Thoms).S.H.Fu,but the contents of Ca and Mn are opposite. This study provides a reliable basis for the relationship between the inorganic elements and its particularly medical effects.
