Clinical effects and nursing experiences of Dinggui powder combined with terazosin hydrochloride on III B chronic prostatitis with qi stagnation and blood stasis type

Objective To observe the clinical effects and nursing experiences of Dinggui powder combined with terazosin hydrochloride on ⅢB chronic prostatitis with qi stagnation and blood stasis type. Methods 72 ⅢB chronic prostatitis patients with qi stagnation and blood stasis type were randomly divided into two groups. 36 patients in control group received terazosin hydrochloride. 36 patients in treatment group received Dinggui powder on the basis of control group treatment. Patients received nursing care in two groups. The clinical effects in two groups were compared after treatment of 4 weeks. The changes of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score,national institute health- chronic prostatitis symptom index( NIH- CPSI) and maximum flow rate were observed in two groups. Results There was no significant difference between two groups on the total effective rate( P 0. 05). There were significant differences between before and after treatment on the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score and NIH- CPSI in two groups( P 0. 05). The traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score and NIH- CPSI in treatment group were superior to those in control group( P 0. 05). Conclusion Dinggui powder combined with terazosin hydrochloride including effective nursing guide at the same time on the treatment of Ⅲ B chronic prostatitis with qi stagnation and blood stasis type can promote the recovery of patients,relieve clinical symptoms,reduce traditional Chinese medicine symptom index and NIH- CPSI,enhance the quality of life.
