Abstract Labeled 1‐tryptophan is converted to indole‐3‐acetamide and then to indole‐3‐acetic acid by enzymes from Pseudomonas savastanoi . Labeled indole‐3‐acetic acid can be converted to indole‐3‐acetyl‐1‐ 0 ‐β‐D‐glucose and to indole‐3‐acetyl‐ myo ‐inositol by enzymes from kernels of Zea mays sweet corn.
