A multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) antenna is investigated at 2.45-GHz industrial, scientific, and medical (ISM) band for high-data-rate implantable devices. The proposed MIMO antenna consists of four triangle patches. Due to adopting slots and shorting pins, the size is diminished with the dimensions of $9.62\times 9.62\times 0.765\ \text{mm}^{3}$ . A high isolation (> 38.5 dB) between MIMO elements is achieved by employing the neutralization line and the defected ground. The simulated impedance bandwidth with $\vert \mathrm{S}_{11}\vert$ less than −10 dB is 14.69% (2.28-2.64 GHz). The MIMO channel parameters, such as envelope correlation coefficient, diversity gain, and channel capacity, are calculated, indicating that the proposed antenna is capable for high-data-rate biomedical applications.
