摘要
Salinity is one of the major abiotic stresses that negatively impacts crop yields. Almost 20% of the total arable area is affected by salinity. Ca2+ signaling plays an important role in plant cell under stress, e.g., salinity. Calcium channels and transporters are important components involved in stress-induced Ca2+ signaling. Here, the types, subcellular locations, and roles of calcium channels and transporters in plant cell under salinity are reviewed and discussed. The aim of this mini review is to give a quick guide to the researchers outside from the field of calcium transport in plants under salinity.
