Studies on the abnormal expression and activation of peripheral lymphocyte subsets in HIV/AIDS patients

Objectives To investigate the expression of peripheral lymphocyte subsets and the relative molecules after activation in HIV/AIDS patients.Methods Using flow cytometry to detect CD3 +?CD4 +?CD8 +?CD8 +CD38 +?CD45RO +?CD45RA +?CD62L + in HIV/AIDS patients.Results The HIV/AIDS patients had lower CD4 + and higher CD8 + than those of normal controls,Th/Ts was inverse significantly(P0.01),Compared with normal controls,CD8 +CD38 +?CD45RO + in HIV/AIDS patients markedly increased while CD45RA + decreased(P0.01),CD62L + in AIDS patients reduced notably than that of healthy controls'(P0.01).Conclusions Some immune factors,such as lower naive T cell,excessive activation and apoptosis are involved in the pathogenesis of HIV.
