Objective To explore the effect of health education on blood sugar control and health behaviors in elderly diabetic patients.Methods 160 patients were randomly divided into test and control groups,the control group given conventional treatment and care,the experimental group in the conventional treatment and care on the basis of a comprehensive system for the health education.Results The fasting blood glucose and health behavior in test group are clearly better than that in control group.Conclusions Health education can help elderly diabetic patients control blood sugar and form good habits of health behavior and thus delayed the complications.
