Aerodynamic Configuration Design of Hypersonic Vehicle with Waverider Sides

The cone derived waveriders were designed to be integrated with central flow path of scramjet.The aerodynamic characteristics of the configurations were validated by CFD simulations.Considering that a waverider can ride over the shock wave at a higher Mach number than the designed,a completely waverider configuration was obtained by integrating central flow path with waverider sides designed at lowed Mach numbers.Integrated configurations with waverider sides were presented as candidates of hypersonic vehicle configurations.
