Recent studies and development of Li-ion batteries

The recent studies of specific energy ,operating property and adapting to the environment of Li-ion batteries were reviewed. The different methods to improve Li-ion batteries performance were discussed. The electrochemical performance of Li-ion batteries could be enhanced by the use of anode material with higher capacity and the cathode material with surface modification or doped by other elements. Additives in the organic electrolyte solution for Li-ion batteries could improve the performance of SEI on the electrode and the safety of Li-ion batteries.
