Groundwater Pollution Evaluation in Some Pesticide Plant Concentration Areas

Through research of groundwater quality and pollution condition in some pesticide chemical enterprises concentration area,with the single index evaluation and Nemerow index method,the quality standard of groundwater were assessed according to the relevant state standards. The evaluation shows that the groundwater quality of the study area is generally poor,and is unfit to drink,mostly has reached grade Ⅳ and Ⅴ. Then,the pollution of the groundwater was evaluated. The result shows that organic and inorganic pollution is serious,and with pesticide enterprises as the pollution sources,formed a halogenated hydrocarbons organic pollution plume followed the karst groundwater direction. This suggests that the karst groundwater pollution is mainly caused by the pesticide chemical enterprises. Finally,based on the evaluation results,it puts forward to the corresponding proposal and the measurement to control of groundwater pollution,this provide scientific basis for exploitation and utilization planning of groundwater in the study area.
