The pull deep deformation uniformity can be improved and production cost of cans can be reduced if the mould has the reasonable punch fillet、die fillet and mould gap parameters in the punch forming process.Based on the finite element simulation analysis,some conclusions can be drawn.If the die fillet increases,the thickness of the cup body fillet reduces,the thickness of the cup wall increases,then the forming load will increases.If the punch fillet increases,the fillet thickness of the cup body and the cup wall thickness increase,then the forming load reduces.If the clearance of die increases,the fillet thickness of the cup-body and the cup-wall thickness decrease,then the forming load reduces.Thus the ideal performance of a cup body and a smaller energy can be obtained by optimizing the die fillet,the fillet of the punch and die gap parameters.
