摘要
A Li/CFx battery with mixed electrode of CFx and MnO2 has been studied in this paper. The addition of MnO2 reduces the value and growth rate of Li/CFx battery expansion force. When the ratio of CFx and MnO2 is 1:3, the growth rate of expansion force decreases by 43.4%, and the value of expansion force can be reduced to less than 0.39 MPa. The research results show that the mixed electrode has two voltage plateaus, which the first plateau is attributed to MnO2 because CFx cannot discharge at 2.8V and the second plateau at 2.5V belongs to CFx. Two materials in the mixed electrode can discharge independently without any by-products. In addition, MnO2 increases the initial discharge voltage of the battery and improves the voltage delay of Li/CFx battery. Therefore, adding MnO2 to CFx electrode can make up for the shortcomings of Li/CFx battery. Combined with the characteristics of the CFx and MnO2, a high-performance Li/CFx battery can be obtained by adding MnO2 in reasonable ratio.
