Regulating the content of Cu + in Cu/CeO 2 catalysts for the reverse water–gas shift reaction

The catalyst reduced with 0.25 H 2 , which best preserved the Cu–O–Ce structure and possessed the highest density of surface Cu + species (active in activating both CO 2 and H 2 ), showed excellent catalytic performance.
