P‐10.1: A Technologic Review of Mini‐LED Direct Back Lights for High‐end Liquid Crystal Displays

With the continuous development of display technology, Mini‐/Micro‐LED backlight units (MLED BLU) technology, as a new generation of display solutions, has attracted widespread attention. This technology combines the advantages of traditional LEDs and OLEDs, offering high brightness, high contrast, low power consumption, and long lifespan. It shows great potential in applications such as televisions, monitors, and automotive displays. This paper aims to provide a comprehensive review of the current status and future trends of MLED BLU technology, covering aspects such as backlight structure, MLED chips technology, and innovations in BLU films, to offer references for relevant research and industrial development.
