摘要
Progress in short-wavelength laser diodes and near field techniques urges the development of ultra-high density disk mastering. Argon ion lasers have been the choice for the purpose. However, the lasers are inefficient and require water-cooling, which is not suitable feature due to induced vibration, moreover available wavelength for stable operation is limited to 351 nm.
