Gold nanoparticle-enhanced D-shaped optical fiber sensor for mercury ion detection

A novel mercury ion detection method. Based on the Au/S–Hg 2+ –S/AuNP structure to specifically capture Hg 2+ and enhance surface plasmon resonance effect, an optical fiber sensor with high selectivity and sensitivity for Hg 2+ detection is designed.
