Unity and Subjectivity

The book discusses the question of how two concepts of subjectivity—biophysically based and phenomenally based subjectivity—compare to the different concepts of unity that have been suggested in recent philosophical discussion. It concludes that both unity and subjectivity are co-constituted and co-occurrent, which makes impossible their clear-cut distinction and separate determination.
