摘要
For 60 years the Gyro and Accelerometer Panel (GAP) has developed inertial sensor and system standards to provide a common language, and guidance to allow the inertial industry to communicate effectively across numerous applications and fields. GAP members represent a diverse cross section of the inertial industry, to include users, producers, and those with general interest in inertial sensors and systems from around the world. The GAP has developed 14 standards to date, with more to come in the future. Current standards cover various gyro, accelerometer, and inertial system technologies. Soon, a new standard for inertial measurement units will be published, and will be followed by a similar standard for inertial navigation systems. GAP standards are developed with the aid of volunteers, which could not be achieved without the inertial communities’ involvement.
