Municipal solid waste incineration bottom ash is highly recycled substance, being used as aggregates in many countries. However, its environmental impact such as dioxin generated during incineration and impact of the generated dioxin to the bottom ash is continued to being verified. In this study, the bottom ash produced by two incineration facilities, each with 200ton/day or higher capacity, is analyzed for dioxin and furans contents as well as distribution of homologues to provide the data for dioxin in the bottom ash.
