On Qian Xuesen′s Contributions to cybernetics

Qian Xuesen is the founder of the engineering cybernetics,and an important man who pioneers the new direction of cybernetics after N.Winner.In a very short period after N.Winner proposed the principle of general cybernetics,combining it with his own research practice,he presented and set up engineering cybernetics in a creative way.So engineering cybernetics becomes a mature disciplinary branch of cybernetics with extremely far-reaching influences.In his advanced years,together with other scholars,Qian has revised Engineering Cybernetics and conducted a lot of programmatic work concerning the future development of cybernetics.
