The Experimental Study on the Developmental Processes and the Relevance of the Contents of Gastrodin and Gastrodia Polysaccharides of Gastrodia elata Bl.f.elata's Sprouted Tuber

[Objective] By studying the relevance on the contents of gastrodin and gastrodia polysaccharides from Gastrodia elata Bl.f.elata's sprouted tubers in varied developmental stages,determine its quality characteristics,and provide a scientific basis for quality control of red Gastrodia GAP.[Method] The sprouted tuber samples from traditional mainstream Gastrodia elata Bl.f.elata in the main producing areas of the Sichuan Gastrodia and that stored in situ dynamic sand in contury of origins indoor were collected,then stored in sand 10 d,80 d,95 d,175 d,220 d.Measuring the content of gastrodin by HPLC and the content of gastrodia polysaccharides by phenol-sulfuric acid method;Using the SPSS17.0 statistical software to study the relevance on the content of gastrodin and gastrodia polysaccharides of Gastrodia elata Bl.f.elata in varied developmental stages and processes.[Result] The average contents of gastrodin and gastrodia polysaccharides of Sichuan Gastrodia elata Bl.f.elata during the sprouting period were 0.36% and 8.17%,which increased from the sand period of dormancy,germination period,pumping stem and flowering period,fruiting period to the decay,the content of gastrodin and gastrodia polysaccharides declined highly and showed as negative correlation,the regression equations are: gastrodin y1=-2E-08x3-1E-06x2-0.000 1x+0.365(R2=0.996***),gastrodia polysaccharides y2=-5E-07x3-1E-06x2-0.008x+8.267(R2=0.996***).[Conclusion] The quality of Gastrodia elata Bl.f.elata's spourted tuber is excellent,whose decline is closely related to the developmental process in sand,so the hollow and rotten Gastrodia elata Bl.f.elata tubers after flowering are not suitable for medicinal and pharmaceutical raw materials.
