Study on Fluorescence Quenching Method for Determination of Trace Chromium(VI) with m Fluorophenylfluorone Cetyltrimethyl Ammonium Bromide System

A simple and highly sensitive fluorescence quenching method for determination of trace chromium(Ⅵ) with m fluorophenylfluorone( m FPF) cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide(CTMAB) system is reported. The detection limit is 1.2 μg/L. The linear range is 0～3 0 μg/25 mL . This method was applied to the determination of trace chromium(Ⅵ) in water samples with satisfactory results.
