Comparition of Pharmacological Effects of Direct Seeding, Transplanting and Bolting Root from Saposhnikovia Divaricata with the Wild

Objective To use and develop medical resources.Methods The qualities of Saposhnikoviae Radix from the wild,the transplant,the direct sow and the bolting were evaluated by pharmacology.The antipyretic,analgesia and anti-inflammatory activity was determined using rectal temperature,acetic acid-induced writhing response and ear swelling test respectively.Results The pharuacological effects of the bolting hadn’t decreased,the transplant considered as the lowest quality was as much as the wild with high quality,the direct sow was of poor quality.Conclusion The transplant was novelty,and would not apply to traditional method.The appraisal of root from Saposhnikovia divaricata should be made more by the chromes and less by the appearance.The outdated prejudices should be given up with respect to the cultivated.
