On the Artistic Features of Intellectual's Paintings in Song Dynaty

In the history of Chinese painting,Song dynasty is a critical period.Both painting and painting aesthetics were prosperous.The painting aesthetics was in fact at the changing and assimilating time of old and new painting aesthetics.The arguments among the painting schools were heated.Especially the intellectual painters,as a new group of painting,started to argue with the academic school and became an authority of painting at the end of Song dynasty.Their painting aesthetics changed the aesthetic idea,ideal,conception and standard of the academic school.Intellectual painting then became the main current of the time,which greatly affected the intellectual painting and its development afterwards.
