Determination of Flavones and Antioxidation Effect for Allium Cepa

The ultrasonic extraction method was used for extracting flavonoids in Allium cepa.The flavonoids in Allium cepa were determined by spectrophotometry,the recovery was 99.6%~102.1% and the coefficient of variation was less than 0.18%.Antioxidation effect of the Allium cepa was determined by fluorimetry.The results show that the Allium cepa abundant in the flavones compounds and has a strong antioxidative effect.
