Graphene- like molybdenum disulfide( MoS2) is a two- dimensional semiconductor with an ultrathin layered structure and an appreciable direct band gap of 1. 9 eV. Having excellent physical and chemical properites from its special layered structure of the hexagonal system,Graphene- like molybdenum disulfide( MoS2) has been receiving much research interest. Preparation methods of Graphene- like molybdenum disulfide( MoS2) were reviewed,advantages and disadvantages of various preparation methods were discussed. Some application of graphene- like molybdenum disulfide( MoS2),such as nanoelectronics devices,optoelectronics devices,and sensors,were prenested. The development of Graphene- like molybdenum disulfide( MoS2) in the future was prospected.
