摘要
This article explores the transformative potential of agentic artificial intelligence (AI) for the future of institutional asset management. Building upon the evolution from traditional machine learning to generative AI, agentic AI introduces autonomous systems capable of independently analyzing data, making investment decisions, and executing actions. The author examine how these AI agents may reshape investment research, portfolio management, client servicing, operations, and compliance functions. The article highlights the evolving role of human investors in a “human+AI” paradigm, the convergence of fundamental and quantitative styles, and the organizational, governance, and cultural implications of agentic AI adoption. Ultimately, agentic AI could redefine the operating model of asset management firms, making strategic collaboration between human professionals and autonomous AI systems central to future success.
