Control of measurement precision by application of the repeatability criterion

This paper presents the definitions and the characteristics of repeatability tests as measures of precision derived on the basis of the ISO 5725-1986 (E) international standard. Repeatability is based on the difference of measurement results, and the determination of the repeatability critical difference is used as precision control during the coarse of measuring. These criterion were successfully applied as precision control during geodetic measuring.
