Microwave technology provides a new approach for high-efficiency wood drying with its unique heating mechanism and characteristics. In recent years, domestic and international researchers have made some important progress in the field of wood microwave drying technology, the research achievements focused mostly on the drying parameters optimization, such as microwave power, moisture content, temperature, the application of advanced detection technology like infrared imaging and so on.But at the same time, the research referring to basic theory of wood microwave drying, microwave dryness technology, structure characteristics,non-uniformity of microwave energy distribution and so on are deficient, which lack systemic research. Therefore, systematic study which focuses on the combination of basic theory and modern measure-control technology is necessary in the future.
