Objective:To study the effect and the mechanism of Shenfu Injection on myocardial energy metabolism following acute myocardial ischemic reperfusion.Methods:36 SD rats were randomly divided into three groups each consisting of 12 rats: sham group(C group),ischemic reperfusion group(IR group),Shenfu Injection pretreatment group(SF group).Ischemic reperfusion models were made by ligated left coronary artery.The HPLC was used to detect the contents of ATP,ADP and AMP.MDA was measured by thiobarbiturate colorimetry,and SOD activity was detected by xanthine oxidase technique.Results:The contents of ATP and AMP in IR group were significantly lower than those in C and SF group.The concentration of ADP was lower than SF group.In the SF group,the content of ATP was lower,but ADP and AMP were higher than those of C group.The content of MDA in IR group was higher significantly than that of C group and SF group.However,the activity of SOD was lower in IR than that in C and SF group.Conclusion:Shenfu Injection can protect ischemic reperfusion injury by raising the content of high energy phosphate and SOD activity in myocardium,meanwhile decreasing the content of MDA.
