Superplastic Tensile Properties of TiAl Based Alloy

The superplastic tensile properties,which provide a theoretical basis for reasonably establishing superplastic forming process and correctly selecting die materials,are summarized according to the reported results of the investigations on the superplasticity of TiAl based alloys.They include strain-rate sensitivity parameter.superplastic elongation and typical true stress-true strain curves.The prospect for application of superplastic forming for TiAl based alloys is forecasted finally.
