Determination on cationic degree of cationic polyacrylamide by infrared analysis

Widely used cationic polyacr ylamide is made th rough polymerisation of acrylamide and cationic monomers. The cationic group on its molecular chain exhibits certain characteristic absorption in infrared spectrum, so the cationic degree of cationic polyacrylamide can be determined by measuring the absorption intensity.
