摘要
Abstract Cognitive systems refer to computational models and systems that are in some way inspired by human (or animal) cognition as we understand it. There is a variety of forms of cognitive systems. Among cognitive systems, cognitive architectures are generic models of cognition, inspired by psychological studies and aimed for capturing human cognition in a rather comprehensive fashion. Another common approach is specifying cognitive processes through logics and logic‐based systems. Many theoretical tools and perspectives have been developed along these lines. In this article, example cognitive systems will be described, and general issues in developing cognitive systems and cognitive architectures will also be discussed along the way.
