Clinical Observation on Docetaxel and Epirubicin in the Treatment of Advanced Breast Cancer

OBJECTIVE To evaluate the afficacy, toxicity and safety of docetaxel and epirubicin in the treatment of advanced breast caner.METHODS A total of 41 patients with advanced breast cancer proved pathologically were treated on with docetaxel and epirubicin regimen, among whom 18 patients were subjected to initially treatment, other 23 to reteatment.RESULTS Of the 41 patients, 3 achieved CR, 21 PR, 9 SD and 8 PD, with a response rate of 58.5% and 80.5%.CONCLUSIONS The regimen of docetaxel and epirubicin is effective and well-tolerated in the treatment of advanced breast cancer.It may be a relevant regimen for patients.
