Экспериментальная оценка возможности доокисления оксидов марганцевой руды до пиролюзита

Studied is the possibility of final oxidation of lower oxides of manganese contained in manganese ore to manganese dioxide. Manganese ore fractions 1 – 3 mm, containing 35 % of Mn in form cryptomelane, were oxidized in air stream and oxygen at temperature of 600 K for 2 hours. XRD analysis showed that in this oxidation mode degradation of cryptomelane lattice and manganese dioxide formation did not occur. Fig.1.
