A Study on Dyeing Polyester/Cotton Blends with Disperse Dyes and Reactive Dyes in One-bath

The process of dyeing polyester /cotton( 65 /35) blends with alkali-resistant disperse dyes and bi-monochlorotriazine reactive dyes in one-bath was studied. The effects of dyeing temperature,dyeing time,anhydrous sodium sulfate concentration and sodium carbonate concentration on dyeing performance were analyzed by single factor experimerts,and the optimized process was obtained. It was anhydrous sodium sulfate concentration 60 g / L,sodium carbonate concentration 2 g / L,dyeing temperature 120℃ amd dyeing time30 minutes for the red dyes,anhydrous sodium sulfate concentration 45 g / L,sodium carbonate concentration 2 g / L,dyeing temperature130℃ and dyeing time 60 minutes for the blue dyes.
