Aerodynamic external flow-field on steel-wheel

Based on the aerodynamics and the finite elements techniques,the computational fluiddynamics(CFD) model was developed.Usingthree different kinds of models,solutions of the surfaceboundary layer generation on complex structure wheel and the mesh generation between wheel androad surface were made.The RNGk-eturbulent model was introduced to study the aerodynamic dragcoefficient of wheel.Investigation ai ms to present a renovate way to design automotive wheels basedon aerodynamics.
