Effect of High Temperature Deformation on Austenite/pearlite Transformation

Effect of deformation of austenite on austenite/pearlite transformation were studied with T8 steel .The results show that,because of pre deformation,the transformation of austenite/pearlite is speeded up clearly.The nucleation is both at original boundaries and within the deformed grains.The transformation productpearlite structure is extremely thinned by deformation especially at top strain.
