Error Concealment and Interactive Error Resilience Based on H.263 Technologies

Because of the growing interest in video delivery over unreliable channels such as wireless networks and Internet,error control and concealment in video communication is becoming increasingly important. In this paper, a precise errorresilient scheme is presented. By using precise error tracking(PET) and error concealment techniques, not only the errorpropagation effects can be terminated completely by INTRA to refresh the affected macroblocks, but also error concealment at the decoder recovers the damaged areas based on the characteristics of image and video signals. According to the result applied in the H.263 codec,this algorithm can get much better video quality with high BER in transmission effectively?
