Recent Research Progress of D-Amino Acid Oxidase

The D-amino acid oxidase is a flavoprotein that catalyzes the oxidation of D-amino acid to the corresponding keto acid and ammonia with FAD as prosthetic group.The recent research of D-amino acid oxidase,including its distribution in the nature,physiological function,biological characteristic,catalytic mechanism,gene cloning,nucleotide sequence analysis and gene expression,are introduced in this paper.
