Dynamic and static test methods are used to investigate the removal efficiency of trichloroethylene pollutants by different medium of zero-valent iron, activated carbon, the mixture of zero-valent iron and activated carbon. The test results show that: zero-valent iron, activated carbon and the mixture of zero-valent iron and activated carbon can effectively remove trichloroethylene, especially by using the mass ratio of 1∶ 1 mixture of zero-valent iron and activated carbon, the efficiency is best and the removal rate of trichloroethylene is over 85% at flow rate 25 mL / min.
