A Comparative Study of the Population Aging in China and Japan

By comparing the population aging in Japan and in China, this paper points out that the age structures of the population in China is changing in a similar way to that in Japan, and the facts affecting the age structures in China are similar to those in Japan. Thus the problems of population aging Japan has experienced is to emerge in China in the near future, the resolutions and policies Japan adopted against the challenge of aging is thus a good reference to China.
