EFFECT OF GROWTH PROGRESS OF ULTRAFINE BRUCITE POWDERS ON ESOHERICHIA COLI

This paper mainly studies the effect of ultrafine brucite powders on the growth progress of E coli by analysing major chemical composition of ultrafine brucite mineral powders and determining the changes of number of colony,pH,glucose(GLU),β-galactosidase,Mg~(2+) after the powders acted with E coli ATCC25922 at different time.At the same time,through scanning electron microscope analysis,the bacterial form and interface action in the action process of brucite short fibrous powders and bacteria was studied.There is a obvious promote effect of ultrafine brucite on the growth of E coli.Most values of number of colony and β-galactosidase attained about 2 times and 5 times relative to the bacterial control tube.The dissolution quantity of Mg~(2+) has also increased 2～3 times relative to the dust control tube from the powder.The proper concentration of ultrafine brucite powders have obvious promote effect to the metabolism of E coli.This paper that discussed the effect of ultrafine brucite powders on the growth progress of E coli.It provides some references for further research of the cross deciplines of mineralogy,microbiology,chemistry and environmental science.
