METABOLITES OF RHIZOPUS ARRHIZUS 3078

Nine compounds were isolated from the methanol extract of the mycelium of Rhizopus arrhizus 3078.On the basis of spectral data,they were determined to be 5α,8α-epidioxy-(20S,22E,24R)-ergosta-6,22-dien-3β-ol (1),(9Z)-glycerin-1-monooleate (2),4-hydroxyacetophenone (3),4-hydroxyphenylacetic acid (4),(20S,22E,24R)-ergosta-7,22-dien-3β,5α,6β-triol (5),(S)-3-hydroxy-3-phenylpropionic acid (6),thymine (7),uracil (8) and adenosine (9).
