Observation of the Clinical Effect of Retrograde Venipuncture

Objective To observe the clinical effect of retrograde venipuncture so as to increase the utilization ratio of shallow vein on the back of hard and protect blood vessels for the patients who need long-term phleboclysis and whose shallow veins are difficult to puncture.Methods 126 patients were divided randomly into 2 groups(venipuncture and retrograde venipuncture).The veins near metacarpophalangeal joint were chosen for puncture.Results These two methods had no remarkable difference in maximal drip velocity of the same liquid(P0.05),but had significant diversity on the movement of hands and the condition of swelling,exudation(P0.01).Conclusion Retrograde venipuncture can raise success rate,make patients more comfortable,is easy to be fixed and should be applied widely in clinics.
