Effect Assessment of the Prescription for Health Education on AIDS Prevention for Freshmen in Medical College

[Objective]To know the effect on the delivering of prescription for AIDS health education,and to provide basis for school's AIDS health education.[Methods]About 200 freshmen of medical college were questioned on the AIDS knowledge through Baseline Questionnaire for Prescription of AIDS Health Education and Effect Questionnaire for Prescription of AIDS Health Education designed by Shandong Provincial CDC.[Results]The average percentage of AIDS knowledge was 67.71% in baseline investigation and 87.78% after the intervention(P0.001)and there was a difference of the understanding rate before and after intervention.[Conclusion]It is an economic and effective method in medical college to provide health education prescription and the prescription of AIDS health education could significantly raise the percentage of cognition about AIDS knowledge.
